Brentz Retro Antiques was created to give collectors the opportunity to purchase original, rare, and interesting items.

We will also be introducing quality reproduction items that will be unique to this site.

Collecting started for me over 30 years ago, where most weekends you would find me digging for antique bottles in the Avon River. Today I still have some of those on display.

After completing my apprenticeship in auto refinishing my interests started changing to Hot Rods.

One of my favourites would have to be my 29A Coupe, built in 1985, that little red chopped coupe won  the NZHRA  award for  top show car in NZ for 1987.

While spending time in the States, I couldn't help but notice old Coke machines and signs that I hadn't seen in NZ. The collecting bug started again !

Over many trips I aquired lots of 50's memorabilia, always packing them into what ever old 50's classic I was driving at the time, then would ship the lot back to NZ. 

Once back, I would spend many hours restoring every thing that needed it  back to its former glory.

Before long I was restoring every one elses classic cars and collectables.
